Common questions
Why did my deploy have no root page?+
If your upload has no index.html at the root, we ask which page visitors should see first — or you can choose “no root page,” where files still serve at their own paths and / returns 404.
How do I redeploy over an existing project?+
Deploy again with the same project name. Each deploy creates a new deployment, and the newest becomes the production alias — unless you've rolled back, in which case auto-assignment is off until you undo.
Are my secrets safe in the build log?+
Yes. Any value 32 characters or longer that would print to the log is masked as [REDACTED], and common token shapes are masked regardless of length.
Can I roll back to any deployment?+
On Pro, yes — pick any deployment ever aliased to production. On Hobby, you can roll back to your previous production deployment.
Do custom domains cost extra?+
No. Custom domains work on every plan, including free Hobby. Teams usually upgrade to Pro for rollback-to-any and previews, not for the domain itself.
Can Triangle run my backend?+
No — Triangle is static only. There are no serverless functions or server runtime. Client-side JS is fine; server code needs a different host.
What happens when I hit a Hobby limit?+
Your site keeps serving; you're rate-limited until the window resets. Usage-based overages are blocked on Hobby, so there's no surprise bill.
How do I export my site?+
Your deployments are just the files you uploaded. Export them any time — there's no lock-in.
Is checkout real?+
Pro checkout runs in free demo mode through the platform gateway: it records a real order object and returns a confirmation. No card fields, nothing charged.
